Exploration
CGL takes pride of being in the forefront of mineral exploration in search of possibility of finding important minerals in their areas under the ground or in rocks. Our well experienced team of surveyors and geologists with expertise in this field entails a major advantage in locating potential deposits. This is followed up by geophysical studies, rock and soil sampling and core drilling to confirm deposits of indicator minerals.
Mining
We operate mines in joint ventures and as associates in Republic of Guinea, Somaliland, Madagascar for critical ores such as Copper, Lithium, Gold and Bauxite and and planning to move further on to Ghana, Turkey and Uzbekistan to increase capacities. Further, we are also involved in operations in Rajasthan and Gujarat States of India for mining of ceramic and glass grade minerals such as Dolomite and Quartz.
Processing
We process a wide range of minerals from India such as Calcite, China Clay, Dolomite, Feldspar, Quartz, Quartzite, Silica Sand, Soapstone, Talc, etc. that entails crushing, grinding and powdering to required sizes and packing them into plastic bags or jumbo bags are required. We use facilities based in Rajasthan and Gujarat with exports occurring from Mundra Port in Gujarat and Nhava Sheva Port of Mumbai.
Trading
Our Trading Division caters to clients in major countries, sourcing and supplying major commodities, foodstuff and agricultural commodities on the one hand and on the other hand, meeting the needs of cementitious products, granite, marble, paints and coatings for the construction and industrial sectors across Middle East and Africa. All our products carry the proper certification from leading inspection agencies.
